Princess Joy
Once upon a time, there was a princess. She lived in a kingdom inside a giant table. One day, she found a treasure map. It led to another kingdom that was inside a giant beach ball, which was on top of the giant table. So the princess, whose name was Joy, decided to follow the map. First, she had to get enough food and water for her journey. While she was looking for a place to get everything she needed, Joy ran into an odd house. She knocked on the door. "Who is it?" asked a voice.
"It's Princess Joy." she answered.
The door opened. It was a witch! The witch said,"Little girls are so annoying! But what do you need, since you are the princess." (The witch did what Princess Joy wanted because she was afraid if she didn't do what she wanted then the princess would take away her powers.)
Joy answered, " I need enough food and water to go to another kingdom."
The witch said, "Here. I have a plate of food and a bottle of water that fill themselves up. Take them, and get out of my house!"
Joy said, "Thank you! I will."
She went home and packed her bag with clothes, the magic plate, and the magic water bottle. So she went on her way.
Princess Joy lived at the bottom of one of the legs of the giant table,so she decided to start right away. A forest surrounded her castle. While she was going through the forest, she found a house where a leopard lived.
"I will tear you to shreds." the leopard snarled.
Joy answered, "If you even scratch me, I'll get my guards to tear you to shreds."
So the leopard let Princess Joy go. Soon she decided to stop for dinner. She wished for a ham sandwich and an apple, and they appeared on the plate. Then she made a little house out of branches, and fell asleep. When she woke up, she wished for pancakes and a banana.
Joy kept walking, following the treasure map. There was a desert to cross before you could get to the top of the table, but Joy had cut a stick from a branch, and she had her water. She climbed out of the table, went into the beach ball, found the treasure chest, and opened it. Inside was a golden ring and a silver pitcher.
The End
