My name is Tarah and when I grow I want to be an artist. My friends always say that I'm really good at drawing. I really enjoy it too. I love every kind of art but I especially like drawing and painting. I'm really good at doing self portraits and portraits of other people.

My mom's friend Jan gives me art lessons every Sunday and now we are working on pastels. They're not my favorite but they are still pretty fun. I'd like to be an artist who makes pictures, not an illustrator.

It all started when King Feldewerd said nobody could use the toilet chamber during royal reading time. He also put up a toilet tax. This made the people of Classroom Ville very upset.

King Feldewerd was married to a cranky queen named Queen Izzy. Tyler the Toilet Cleaner was also very upset with King Feldewerd because he had been going to the toilet chamber very often. Part of his rage was with Cook Cole for baking King Feldewerd baked beans which was his favorite snack but made him quite gassy.

King Feldewerd referred to the citizens of Classroom Ville as the students. Everyday King Feldewerd had everyone in Classroom Ville come to the Elijah Palace. Elijah was King Feldewerd's grandfather. Elijah was 2,634,525 years old. King Feldewerd likes to have everyone in Classroom Ville come to the castle so he can teach them lessons. You see, King Feldewerd wants to be a teacher when he grows up. Oh, did I forget to mention that King Feldewerd is only 2 years old and Queen Izzy is 2 1/2? They married young.

Noah the Knight actually enjoyed the classes. Well, he kind of had to because King Feldewerd said he had to go to the classes or he'd be fired. Princess Maya was King Feldewerd's daughter and she didn't like him at all. She had recently gone to the library and read about the Boston Tea Party and King George and the colonists. She had thought her father was just like King George. Baden the Butler was very obedient, even in the hardest times, like when King Feldewerd was whining because he wants his favorite Teddy bear named Adrian.

While King Feldewerd was sleeping someone knocked on the door. He heard Baden open the creaky door and yell, "King Feldewerd!" So, I got out of bed because I knew King Feldewerd wouldn't want to be interrupted during his beauty sleep.

Hi, I'm Julianna. I'm a towns person but I was adopted by Elijah who sometimes seems seems like the only nice person in the palace.

But anyway, the person at the door was Ms. Emily, my personal teacher. King Feldewerd said regular school outside the palace smells like sweat and is too dirty. In the classes, Ms. Emily teaches me cursive a lot. "Class, the next subject is history so who is the greatest leader of our generation?" asked Ms. Emily. "Mr. Feldewerd. OK, done for the day." Did I forget to mention that Ms. Emily has a major crush on King Feldewerd?

Just then Elijah came walking down the hallway with Cook Cole and Baden demanding to have his Sponge Bob mac and cheese sent up to his spa room. I saw Elijah carrying Adrian. After them came Princess Abbie, a very selfish girl, arguing with Princess Maya (her sister) for using their private bathroom. Princess Maya is very generous and is probably the nicest person but I never see her because Princess Abby is always arguing with her but she just ignores her. Elijah can be pretty cranky sometimes.

Then all of a sudden, something bit me. I looked down expecting to see some hideous thing but it was just Nick, King Feldewerd's playing pet turtle. But, back to the story.

Everyone got mad at King Feldewerd so they started to have a war. King Feldewerd was the only one against it. So this is what it looked like - 100 people on one side and on the other side 1 person, King Feldewerd. Just when they were about to fight, Adrian the teddy near came up and talked for the first time and he said, "Fellow citizens of Classroom Ville, King Feldewerd has agreed to be nicer and stop toilet tax." "WHAT?!" said King Feldewerd, "everyone has to pay to use the toilet. If you stop I'll shove you in the toilet."

Afterwards, Classroom Ville got more people including Ryan, Claire, Trinity, Devin, Amber, Aiden, Carlie, Grace, Kendrick, Max, Isabel, Anna and King Jacob and it all started over again.

I read a very good book last month. It is the second book in the series.

It is about a black bear named Lusa is traveling with two grizzlies. One is a baby named Urjarak and a tween named Toklo. Urjarak is a shape shifting bear and Kallik is a polar bear who lost her mother in an orca encounter when they were swimming from iceberg to iceberg. Her brother Taqqiq got left on the opposite iceberg. Then the two icebergs just slowly floated apart. So Kallik is on her own looking for the land of everlasting ice.

She finally reaches land but she is scared because she doesn't know how to hunt yet, she doesn't know anybody and she has to live on berries and grubs for awhile. Kallik must find her brother so they can figure this out together.

Read it to find out how it ends!

Seekers The Quest Begins

Here is my summary of a book I read:

Well, there is a polar bear named Kallik and all the ice is melting so her family has to leave right away and her little brother got lost and so her and her mother have to travel iceberg to iceberg. And while she is traveling, her mother felt something in the water and then she sees water shoot from the surface. She yells for Kallik to go back to the iceberg. All of a sudden a whale shoots up from the surface and attacks the mother bear!Unfortunately, Kallik must search on her own and find her brother in a new world where polar bears go every summer. So she has to get used to berries to eat and must make new friends.

Toklo is a grizzly bear and his brother Tobi isn't doing so well, he is sick. So his mother Oka only pays attention to Tobi. One night when Tobi and Oka are sleeping, Toklo wakes up and sees Tobi breathing funny. First he breathes really fast and then really slow. All of a sudden, Oka wakes up and screams. Then she gets really mad with Toklo so he asked, "why?" and she said, "you could have woken me up and told me Tobi was dying!" Sadness filled Toklo. He knew he didn't like Tobi but he didn't want that to happen. For the next week Oka didn't speak at all. When they were by the lake, Oka said, "I'm sorry but I must go" so she leaves Toklo to live on his own.

Lusa is a black bear that lives in a zoo and flat faces (humans) feed them. Lusa has a mother and a father who is like the boss of the bear section of the zoo. His name is King. King is always teaching Lusa to climb the only tree in the bear bowl. A month or solater a new bear comes to the bear bowl and she looked lonely so Lusa came to talk to her. The first thing she said was she made a terrible mistake by leaving my cub. "My name is Lusa," Lusa said. "I'm Oka." The next few days Oka wouldn't talk to Lusa. When a flat face came into feed the bears, Oka ran and growled and jumped on the flat face and tried to attack him. As soon as they got her off him they had to kill her but Lisa knew Oka wanted to tell Toklo she loved him. So she climbed up the tree bent over and jumped over the stone wall. On the way she meets some dangers. First, she runs into a city on the way and was starving. Just then she saw aluminum cans (garbage cans). So she starts digging through them. She hears yelling after a few minutes. Then she sees a flat face pointing a metal stick at her (a gun) so she runs away until she gets back to the path.

Toklo meets a younger grizzly bear that can shape shift. His name is Ujurak. Toklo was convinced to travel with him because he was so sad when Tobi died he wouldn't let Ujurak die. Also Ujurak told him when he got to a certain spot, the bear watchers would watch over them forever. A few months later Ujurak tried to catch a squirrel so to catch it quicker he changed into a rabbit. Lusa was quite close and when she saw the rabbit and tried to catch it, Toklo tackled her down. The she asked him his name because he looked familiar. When he said his name Toklo she said, "I've been looking for you." Kallik hasn't made any friends except for a giant polar bear that she is annoying by following him around the grassy land to learn how to survive there.

The end.

Two hungry monsters at my closet door chewing up my sneakers asking me for more.

Three hungry monsters in the upstairs hall licking the flower painting hanging on the wall.

Four hungry monsters round my daddy's head sniffing out the crackers he'd eaten in his bed.

Five hungry monsters sliding down the rail munching and crunching on one another's tail.

Ten hungry monsters about to fuss and kick we won't get out until they told me unless you feed us quick.

So I bring out some apple juice, bread (which they put upon my head), spaghetti, eggplant, pickled pears, pumpkin (they climb on the pears like stairs) turkey, pizza, watermelon (I wish they were twice the size), and peanut butter but not a speck of jam because I want every monster mouth shut tighter than a clam.

They gargle with some apple juice then shower with the rest. They pinch the bread to crumbs and won't clean up their mess. They braid up the spaghetti into wigs and eat the eggplants whole and learned that pears don't bounce and neither will they roll. They wear the pumpkin tops as hats and dream of pumpkin pie. They argue over wish bones and pick the turkeys dry.

That's when my doggy barks and shakes her stub of a tail but I think she's going to fail. That's when I start to scream and shout and then the monsters start to cry and pout. I try to shove them out the door but here comes more and more and more. So without a single doubt I yell to them to get out, get out.

Ten sorry monsters creeping one by one, climb up the chimney and now my job is done. Then from behind the toaster in my secret hiding spot, I take an apple muffin that they never got.
